The Aspirations Teaching School Alliance is an innovative and forward thinking professional development organisation preparing teachers to deliver an authentic education for the 21st century. The Aspirations Teaching School Alliance is part of the Aspirations Academies Trust. The Trust has three, age 2 to 19, school Districts in Banbury, London and the South Coast. The Teaching School Alliance operates in the three District hubs with Magna Academy Poole acting as the central base.

Balcarras School and National Star have been selected for a new Government programme to improve virtual learning.
Balcarras an outstanding 11-18 comprehensive secondary school, based in Cheltenham and National Star, a national charity based in Gloucestershire,are among the 20 schools and colleges chosen for their excellence in use of technology.

The Bath & Mendip Partnership Teaching School (TBMPTS) is an alliance of schools which adhere to the principles of a 'schools-led system' with the single aim of raising the attainment and progress of all children and young people across the area. The teaching school provides a framework to enable schools to share expertise and also commissions consultants.

The Bristol Primary Teaching School Alliance is currently made up of three schools who have been awarded Teaching School status: Ashley Down Primary School (awarded Teaching School status in 2013); Whitehall Primary and Bridge Farm Primary (awarded Teaching School status jointly in 2014) along with Fair Furlong Primary (a strategic partner school).

The CLF Institute is the home of the Cabot Learning Federation Teaching School Alliance, the CLF School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) partnership, the Boolean Maths Hub, our DfE accredited National Professional Qualifications in education leadership and so much more!
The purpose of the CLF Institute is to provide training and professional development for staff and support for school improvement within and beyond the Federation.

Devonport High School for Boys has been a worldwide Google reference school since 2015 and was one of the first schools to deploy G Suite for Education and Chromebooks in the UK. From a more efficient administration to students who make their own websites to support classes, DHSB made incremental gains to become a more collaborative, effective and dynamic learning environment for the 1,250 students in the school. The whole organisation has embedded G Suite for Education to increase productivity, efficiency and to transform learning in the 21st century.

DTSP is a partnership of 50 Primary and Special Schools based throughout Devon, Exeter, Plymouth and Torbay. Tarka Learning Partnership is one of the lead organisations for the Teaching School and has responsibility for its strategic development. Formed in 2012 we are available to support all schools across our region especially in Initial Teacher Training, Professional Teacher and Leadership Development, School Improvement and Research.

There are 133 Church of England Schools in the Diocese of Exeter. Together, this family of schools, academies, trusts and federations educate over 28,500 children. We support these schools in developing and sustaining a Christian vision of education. To this end, through our services to schools, we provide a wealth of information, resources, support and signposting for headteachers, staff, clergy and governors.

Excalibur Teaching School Alliance was awarded National Teaching School status by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) in April 2016. Excalibur TSA is based at and led by St John’s, an outstanding academy situated in the beautiful market town of Marlborough. Our alliance shares expertise from across a partnership of primary and secondary schools in Bristol, Berkshire and around Wiltshire.

J T Resolutions Ltd was set up by Julie Taylor in 2019. Julie works with academies, schools, MATs and Local Authorities providing independent complaints management services across England. The service includes model policies and documentation which incorporate current government guidance as well as advice and support on individual cases either through an annual subscription or on an ad hoc basis. Julie provides a range of training options on all aspects of complaints management for a variety of audiences.

NAHT is a trade union and professional association representing more than 45,000 members in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Members hold leadership positions in early years; primary; special and secondary schools; independent schools; sixth form and FE colleges; outdoor education centres; pupil referral units, social services establishments and other educational settings.

At National Star, we’re driven by our vision for a world in which people with disabilities are able to realise their potential as equal and active citizens in control of their lives. The North Avon Teaching School Alliance supports primary, secondary and special schools in, and beyond, South Gloucestershire. Bradley Stoke Community School was accredited as a teaching school in 2017, leading to the formation of the North Avon TSA. The alliance works closely with the Olympus Academy Trust, the Castle School Education Trust (CSET), the ENABLE Trust, Chipping Sodbury School, Brimsham Green School, Bristol Engineering & Technology Academy, and New Horizons Learning Centre. NATSA also supports Initial Teaching Training (ITT) via the School Direct programme and has an active interest in engaging with evidence-based research.

The Oak Partnership Multi Academy Trust was formed on 1 January 2019. Its founder member schools are three primary schools (Blackbrook Community Primary School, Ruishton CofE Primary School and West Monkton CofE Primary School) and one all-through Special School (Selworthy Special School). All four schools were inspected by Ofsted in 2018 and were rated Good.

The Priory Learning Trust is a successful teacher-training school. In 2016 it was awarded the prestigious National Teaching School status - a rare accolade after it fulfilled a wide range of criteria in training teachers and supporting other schools.
To become a teaching school, schools must be judged outstanding or good and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional teacher training and supporting other schools.

Based in Somerset (at Haygrove School in Bridgwater), the Quantock Teaching Alliance is a centre of excellence with an important role to play in school-led systems and school improvement. The Redstart Teaching Alliance (RTA) is currently working with a collaboration of over 20 primary, secondary, middle schools and partners across Somerset, Devon and Dorset to provide high-quality training and development to new and existing staff. In response to the national agenda of developing a self-improving school system, the partner schools within the Alliance have come together to lead a framework of training, research and professional development for the benefit of all schools across the area and within the alliance.

The SPTS alliance consists of the Yeovil Federation of schools, and the Somerset Special Schools (SENse). We work closely with our alliance and other strategic partners, taking a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of school to school support, initial teacher training, CPD and research & development.

We are a Church of England Primary school and have very close links with Portishead Church of England and in particular with St Peter's Parish Church. We aim to value and introduce faith and welcome all regardless of their faith or belief. In 2018 we refined our vision of excellence to include "Excellence in all we do, Excellence in who we are and Excellence in our service with others".

We are a relatively new Teaching School Alliance (established in March 2016), but we have been working together as a partnership of schools for 25 years (the Dorchester Area Schools Partnership – DASP). Our alliance consists of fourteen first schools, three middle schools, an upper school and a learning centre. We also collaborate closely with the Dorset Studio School and with neighbouring Teaching School Alliance, TADSS (Teaching School Alliance of Dorset Special Schools).

Teaching Schools SW is a partnership of Schools, MATs, Teaching Schools, Teaching School Hub, Research School and Curriculum Hubs.
Our Teaching School Hub is led by Kingsbridge Community College. It is one of six Department for Education Test and Learn Phase Teaching School Hub Programme designated in January 2020.

As one of the 32 Research Schools in the national network, West Somerset Research School aims to get research evidence into the hands of schools and practitioners. We share what we know about putting research into practice and support schools to make better use of evidence to inform their teaching and learning. The aim, of course, is to ensure that this improves the outcomes for children in the classroom. We help teachers and school leaders get ‘closer to the evidence’ through communication, training and support for innovation. West Somerset Research School is based at The Blue School in Wells.

The West Country Teaching School Alliance (WCTSA) is a vibrant and diverse partnership of schools working across Devon and Somerset to create a sustainable and powerful system for school improvement. The Whole School SEND Consortium, hosted by nasen, is delivering the Department for Education SEND Schools’ Workforce Support Contract and a randomised control trial funded by the Education Endowment Fund. It brings together schools, organisations and individuals who are committed to ensuring that every child and young person with SEND can maximise their potential.
